Job Description

As a Global Quality Assembly and Test Quality Assurance Intern, you will be responsible for supporting current engineers’ roles inclusive of data automation projects to drive work efficiency and labor productivity within the group

Required Qualifications For Micron Technology Internship 2023

Partner with CPG site QA to manage CPG subcons in India, US and Europe
Coordinate and participate in Micron CPG subcons Sites Manufacturing/QMS Audits if any
Drive the Micron CPG subcons Manufacturing sites to align to Micron Quality Requirements
Deployment of Micron Quality Programs, Initiative and projects
Drive problem resolution, identify root cause, containment, corrective and preventive actions
Reporting of Weekly / Monthly Quality Metrics
Data automation projects to drive work efficiency and labor productivity
Develop advanced and smart visualizations and enhanced reports using Manufacturing data for Quality improvement projects.
Create Data View for Quality business process compliance.
Preferably in 3rd/4th Year of Bachelors’/Masters’ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field of study with programming exposure
Knowledge of at least 1 of the programming languages, preferably Python and preferably some project exposure in Web Development (Angular, Typescript, Bootstrap, etc.).
Project experience in leveraging database and data query technologies (e.g., SQL/Big Query/Snowflake)
Exposure to at least 1 of the data visualization software is a plus (Eg. Tableau/PowerBI Etc)

- As a Global Quality (Assembly and Test) Analytics Intern at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Global Quality Engineering organization (for Assembly and Test). The team’s primary objective is to strengthen and transform our quality management process into Quality 4.0, while working closely with MFG engineering teams and the SMART MFG team. Your responsibility will be to drive problem solving on key quality topics via cutting edge analytics, transform our current quality metrics/reports to provide insights for the leadership regarding quality, and work with engineers to provide solutions that can directly impact Micron Quality.

Skills /Qualifications that will help you stand out at Micron Technology Internship

- Technology/Tools/Platform for Micron Technology Internship:
  - Knowledge of at least 1 of the programming languages, preferably Python and preferably some project exposure in Web Development (Angular, Typescript, Bootstrap, etc.).

Develop advanced and smart visualizations and enhanced reports using Manufacturing data for Quality improvement projects.
Create Data View for Quality business process compliance.
Drive problem solving leveraging both Micron proprietary and 3rd party tools and applications (including Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI tools) to address critical Micron Quality needs.
Enhance existing detection methods (Advanced Process Control Methods) example Statistical Process Control, Fault Detection, Tool Alarms Etc through better management of information for quality control.
Collaborate with Smart Manufacturing & AI and site teams to drive pilots and POC processes to define the roadmap of I4.0 innovation in Assembly and Test.
