Merchant Services team is looking for a strong Full Stack Software Engineer to join us.
As a Software Engineer, you will help us to design and build a robust product to support PayPal’s merchants, through rapid prototyping & iterative development.

Your day to day:

• A customer champion who can work with engineers, product managers and analysts to enable their business needs.
• To work with product managers using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Collaborating with peers both within their team and across the organization.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of initiatives.
• Mentor and coach, a team of highly skilled full-stack Engineers.

What do you need to bring:

• BS/MS in Computer Science with 5+ years of software development and engineering experience.
• Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/Node/React and web services (REST/JSON).
• An intellectually curious, quick study who will learn the business quickly.
• Proven experience in designing, implementation, and maintenance of high performance, highly available, large-scale platforms, and applications.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills, ability to grasp & convey complex product requirements or technical concepts.
• Strong Agile skills and proven track record for product delivery.
